What is my Worth????

Now that I have entered a new phase of my life where I am actually seen as a viable part of society....as a woman...and not a girl...LOL, I have begun to wonder what it is that men see in me that makes them want to have me around.

No man? No true success...

Today I was talking to my cousin, who is the American Black Chick in Europe, who is actually back in the States for a little bit.

As I talked with her, I realized that we both go through a lot of similar experiences with our families where it concerns men. She has just finished her Masters Degree while studying in London, and has also lived in France for the past three to six months, but what was the first question she got from her extended family who hadn't seen her in at least two years?....Well it wasn't "how was France?"or even "Congrats on your Masters!", or heck, "What do you plan to do now that you've finished Grad School?"

Not Quite Pointers...

I have been sort of guilt tripped into NOT writing anymore of my Pointers to being a Platonic Female...but that will only last so long. Let's be honest, I like passing on knowledge, and heaven knows that I know THAT subject the best :-)

So, because I'm single, I want to steal YOUR man LOL!?!?!?!

It's amazing what coupled off, insecure women will transfer onto confident single women.

Sorry, about the title, but I was reading an article meant to give advice to female virgins about what they should know before they engage in the activity. And besides the advice being really bad, many who posted comments called virgins repressed and other crapola.(If you're not ready for sex...do not read this article, seriously)

So I was watching Tough Love-Couples, last night on VH1 and I was chagrined but also fascinated by something the host, Steve Ward, stated, "A healthy sex life is essential for a happy relationship."

Really?!?!?
