Over the past couple of months, my world has been halted and turned into a nightmare by events that have taken place in my beloved Country.

From Mike Brown, Ezell Ford, Dillon Taylor, Charles Smith, John Crawford and Eric Garner, the blood of those who should still be alive have practically been screaming non-stop in my head....probably because of Twitter, but that's another story.

Throughout all of this, my biggest disappointment has been in the silence of those who seemingly have the power to change or at least call for substantial change in this country. The Christian Church.

Re: Single, Saved and Sexin'

So, today I found a link to a very disturbing article about having sex AND being saved from one of my new favorite online magazines; So Divine Magazine. The link was actually on their Facebook site, but I'll provide the link here. The name of the article says enough, but the comments, and the article itself is what literally had me mad...and then sad.

Mad, because, once again, now I'm going to be placed in the same boat as this woman at some point, by some man who believes that evolution will eventually lead me to understand that my God of the Bible is obsolete. But more than that, because I know that I am going to get hated on by those who believe that this article actually sets women free...instead of binding her even further.

Sad, because, the Truth has once again been subverted. I can understand why, when looking at society, but the thing is, is that either a thing IS or is NOT the Truth. And even if we hate the way it is told to us or by whom it is told...the Truth is still the Truth. 

Beauty and the Church

It's crazy, but I've been doing a Bible Study with a friend about Beauty and its merits, and it amazes me at how little this topic is actually talked about in Christian literature, outside the Bible that is. It's like those in the Christian world would rather not look at Beauty as being important in this world, because it cannot be quantified.

Am I really a repressed female for not having had sex?????

Sorry, about the title, but I was reading an article meant to give advice to female virgins about what they should know before they engage in the activity. And besides the advice being really bad, many who posted comments called virgins repressed and other crapola.(If you're not ready for sex...do not read this article, seriously)
